Engineering is easier when the ideas are clear.
CodeYourself is an independent engineering learning project operated by Kalaiyarasan J. We help curious engineers connect an idea to a small example, then take it into practice.
Built by a person, with the help of machines.
CodeYourself was built by Kalaiyarasan J through a collaboration between human effort and AI tools.
Human ideas, decisions and persistence, supported by AI-assisted design, coding and content development, made this platform possible. The aim is to turn that work into practical learning that more people can access and use.
Technology helped build the platform. People give it a purpose: learning, experimenting and sharing thoughtful feedback. This is an ongoing project, and every useful correction helps it improve.
Read. Reason. Practice.
The public field guide is free to read without an account. It covers SQL, data platforms, system design and AI capacity reasoning through original worked examples and links to primary documentation.
The signed-in workspace provides coding challenges, engineering tasks and saved drafts. Free accounts receive selected starter material. Advanced content and Architecture Studio are Pro features. Live payment collection is not currently enabled.
Honest about the tools
SQL labs run in browser DuckDB fixtures. JavaScript exercises run in browser workers. Cloud and AI components in Architecture Studio are teaching models, not real vendor accounts, benchmarks or production deployments. The separate server algorithm judge is not connected.
How guides are made
These original guides were created with AI assistance. Worked examples are checked during development and platform documentation is linked for further verification. We do not claim independent expert certification. We welcome clear corrections and concrete counterexamples.
