Your practice deserves privacy.
Effective 30 October 2026. This notice describes the current CodeYourself learning website and signed-in workspace.
Public reading
You can read public guides without creating an account. Hosting services process technical request data, such as IP address and request timing, to deliver and protect the site. We have not enabled third-party advertising or audience analytics for this release.
Your account and practice
When you register, Google Identity Platform manages your email/password identity and verification. The application stores account identifiers, profile information you choose to provide, session records, drafts, bookmarks, course enrollment, checkpoint progress, private learning notes and submission/workspace records in Google Cloud Firestore. Production passwords are handled by the identity provider rather than stored in the application database.
Cookies and local storage
An essential HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in. Workspace preferences and some browser drafts may use local storage. These support the learning experience; they are distinct from advertising consent. Signing out revokes the current app session. Account settings also provide sign-out on all devices.
Advertising
Advertisements are currently disabled. No AdSense requests are made by the application’s advertising component. If advertising is introduced, this notice and the consent experience must reflect the actual provider configuration before serving ads.
Control and retention
You can edit your profile and export your account’s saved work through Settings. Records are retained to operate your account and practice history; no fixed automatic deletion period has been established. To request correction or deletion, contact kalaiyarasanjacob@gmail.com. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Do not send credentials as proof.
Service providers and security
Google Cloud hosts the application, identity and database. Provider infrastructure may process data across regions; the app/database deployment is configured in us-central1. We use access controls and secure sessions, but cannot promise that any internet service is completely secure. The site is not intended for children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child’s information has been submitted.
